v0.10 Issues and crashes

Postby gyananup » Wed Dec 03, 2003 3:36 am

I am experiencing the following "problems". Where appropriate, I have listed a system configuration.

Some scenes on #1 & #2 are minimally kinetic. By this I mean that scenes like Boxey, Big Foot, and several others, there is minimal movement of the image. It moves only a few dozen pixels away rather than as on #3 where the entire image spins even at the highest resolution. I could take this to be that the CPU #3 is so much faster.

On all three machines, while starting the program in window mode (during the loading phase) if another program interferes with the space of R4, the R4 window goes white and the program locks up. It doesn't give immediate access to the program manager. It doesn't die easily, requiring a long time before the "End Program" dialog pops up. CPU usage is pegged at 100% for R4. When it finally dies, all appears well.

On #3, Spectrum Swirl does not display anything. On #1 it displays a very dark screen with only a hint of some graphical activity taking place at the middle right of the screen.
