first things first... R4 rox.
euh, otherwise. I'm using line-in.dll to input from my decks to winamp, cuz i want to run visuals over mixes. Now when i use R2, it works fine (altho i'm quite shit at configuring, and the beat detection is poo.), but when i try loading r4... Hmmzzz... it really doesn't like it at all, and crashes winamp. euh, it says. Let's see "Failed to open waveform input" and then closes. Which sux. Well, i hope you can maybe help me with this.

yep. R4 has its own line-in support...

If you start R4 as a plugin from winAmp (not the icon) then it shouldn't give the line-in problem. if it does let me know.

However, the proper solution for line-in is just to run R4 standalone via the icon, without WinAmp running at all. You may have to set your sound record settings (via the volume control) to line-in first.
