A little cliched. I cannot think of a useful way of making it move to the sound.
MAybe something for r4 in teh future

Hmm... Thats not really very matrixey. I did one in DOS a while back, i've had a quick look but can't find it - i'll try and dig it out of my backups.
The Screensaver one is quite neat, but i don't think the zooming in works too well. What we'd need is a texture that contains all the numbers and wierd symbols, moving down and highlighting in the classic way. Then it'd be really easy to wrap it round 3D objects like in Matrix Reloaded, and pan around - and you have a really serious 3D effect.
Also applying it to the cubefield would work well, and the tunnels too.

Ok. am a bit drunk. however... R4 now has a matrix effect:
(i think this is the address anyway).
if not, you should find it on R4 pics - it should be a lot nicer when its wrapped around cool objects. anyway, looks kindof like the matrix, and runs fine - kindof highlights the need for variable-size textures in R4 tho' (cubefield tends to slow it down).
