What follows are pictures and links to some of the software things i've done. Most are from the last 5 years, since its difficult to easily get pics from before then now :(
My fiddlings with Java started about the same time we were covering it at University - Its a relatively good excuse to mess about. See the Java Page to see some of the applets i've done
This has been kindof a long-running thing. It started when I converetd my point-morph (below) to OpenGL, in the form of a screensaver, then to a WinAmp plugin. Seems everyone liked the plugin, and it ended up with about 400,000 downloads. Obviously urged on a bit by this I converetd some of my OpenGL democoding stuff to work off WinAmp, and so it started... have a look at the Visuals Page and the R2 page
This was basically a side-product of the fact that my school for GCSE was equipped with only 486SX/25 PCs, so any work i did while there had to be a little simplistic. The little screensaver-like programs I made were displayed after each machine booted, as it waited to be logged into (hence why most have 'HBS' on them).
I appologise for the lack of and crappiness of the images. It seems Microsoft figured that no-one using XP would do longer *want* to take screenshots of graphical DOS apps, or run them in a window...
These started a few years ago now - got an NVidia GeForce Pro (sounds old now - cost £200 then :) and really wanted to see what it was capable of (well over 100x the 486 SX's I was using at school). The 3D Web Browser was my school A-level project - It was capable of displaying potentially infinite sized worlds, streamed off the internet as they were needed. It was displayed at the british science fair, but lost spectacularly, as is usually the case ;)
