When running R4 and Windows Media Player it says "No Sound Detected". I have checked my sound settings and in the record radio switch my only options are line in or mic. I have a SigmaTel Audio sound card. I can get R4 to detect sound by running it as a plug in from WinAmp but I really want it to detect when I use Windows Media Player. My last laptop had no problems doing this.

When you select the radio button you have to tick all the boxes



Tick the stereo Mix (or whatever the SIgmaTel card has) or in fact tick them all to see what is active.

Under Recording radio switch I only have "Line in" or "Microphone". I have ticked them both but still no sound detected.

Under Recording and Playback radio switches, I have ticked all options available.

If you have any any more ideas I appreciate it.
