One of teh most common myths is teh 35fps you eye can only see.
It is true that is all we probably can only process of 35 different images. i.e. 35 different distinct pictures a second.
Tv's are differnet too as they are interlaced.
But for animation and the like you can see more. Although as you brain works a lot quicker that any fps and the smoothness and the flow is there.
I would never use the fps limiter I would alwas limit it by the MOnitor refresh rate as a) it is easier but b) the computer will do less work and you will have in thoery a smoother image. (if you limit the fps then you have to do the other enforced limit of the refresh Hz of the it will not be as smooth...i hope I explained that enough. Probably not.

ANyway running at like 75 or 85Mhz is good. Me and Gordon run at these speeds. 60fps is too clunky.#

Are you worried about system resource? have you forgot you are running a vis.
