Posted: Fri Jul 23, 2004 2:43 pmPosted: Fri Jul 23, 2004 3:58 pmThat would be because most of R4's main graphics code was re-written so it didn't use the bits of OpenGL that caused ATI cards to behave badly and/or crash. If you turn on the pbuffer extension option and restart you may find that even after years of driver development by ATI, R4 still causes the driver to crash.
