R4 Remote Control Problem in VIsta

I have been a faithful tester outter of R4 for years now, most of the time i can figure out how to fix any issues, but this one has me stumped, I have usually have used R4 on my XP machine in my games room, its great to watch while playing pool or board games ect. I now have a vista computer in there, and I cannot access the remote Control on it, R4 is run on the projector, and i used to use the desktop screen with the remote to play my favorite ones and such, I cannot access the remote from vista, i have tryed a bunch of firewall options, i tryed different browsers, I tryed different ports, i tryed reinstalling, allowing admin rights and various other things. http://localhost:8888/ = no Dice for the remote . I have a win xp lappy that runs R4 and the remote fine, but its for travel not the games room. Any tips would be useful, I know I know, I fix comps, Vista is like ME, i mean mistake edition its crap, but it would be nice without having to downgrade!
