When I try to go fullscreen it doesnt freeze or crash, I just cant see anything fullscreen, if I alt-tab and another window is on top i get a picture, but not when its exclusive, besides that it runs fine..... I remember back in the days of R2 i could do fullscreen, it would just randomly crash every 30 secs to 20 mins, now it never crashes just FS is messed up

And you have the latest version of R4? 1v12?
I have had similar problems since I installed a radeon 9600 - but only a few scenes appear to have the problem - the rest are fine. Try changing scene with F4, or pull up the menu with ESC and see if that works.

There are a few things you can try :
* Go to the Screen settings, and change the texture width and height down to 512x512. You could change it up later if this works (you must restart).
* If that doesn't, try turning PBuffers on and restart. ATI doesn't support pbuffers well, so R4 may become more unstable. That *should* cure it though.
