Ok...the strobe overlay gave me an idea...
What about keeping the strobe INV to the beat as it currently is...but every 4th frame, have a random picture display instead of the INV?
So every 4th frame you could set it to grab PIC1.PNG, then 8th frame PIC2.PNG, etc..through a set of say 16 pics?
Know what I mean? This would be really cool for subliminal themes, and/or corporate logos/branding....

I don't think the strobe works that way. I don't know for sure (as cannot check as no r4 here) but I imagine the strobe will be
if sounda (that is the bass) is greater then 0 then inv image else leave as it is in normal colours.
Once we have added a decent beat detector and then counters can be added to do this but it will look ugly unless you have a delay for x amount of frames to display after a beat and that complexates teh someflow iof teh beat detection some.

The mirror'ing then the tiler sounds brilliant!
THEN THERE.. woops... then there's this one:
running a movie with the waterizer and emboss overlays looks killer, really brings the video edges out. the crowds love it!
