What if you could give R4 a song list and it would create a custom (or random) visualization in NONREALTIME that goes with the music and is written to a compatible mpeg2 file. We could take our favorite music, make a DVD with it and then play it on ANY dvd player anywhere without a computer. I have read a lot of the posts about capturing. Why not just output directly to a mpg2 file?

Its a good idea, the main problem is writing directly to a video file. Its not that simple to do, and recording from songs would require me to build in an MP3 player. The other reason is that if R4 recorded to video, not as many people would buy it - they'd just get the DVDs of their songs :)

Best do what Rovastar has suggested a few times - setup a playlist in WinAmp, and then just record your PC's output with a standalone DVD recorder.
