Wanting to know if there is a way to get r4 working in foobar2000 as a plugin.

I have it working with R2 through a visualization plugin for foobar2000 called bacon . I just pointed the R2 installer at foobar2000/Winamp/ and it installed plugin, which i can use through foobar2000 now.

Problem with R4 installer is it gives you an option to install plugin for winamp, but it either assumes a winamp install dir, or reads some registry value im guessing. Either way, it errors saying winamp not installed and thats it.

Now the standalone exe works fine, it detects sound, but i dont want to have to manually start it every time.

Any and all solutions welcome.....

Install WinAmp, and then install R4. After the install, copy the file vis_R4.dll from C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins to the foobar2000/Winamp/Plugins directory, and use the bacon plugin you had previously.
